Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly sewing workshop where you’ll learn how to set up and use a sewing machine, practice essential stitches, and explore simple techniques for sewing seams and finishing edges.

Step by step, you’ll be guided through the process of creating your very own stylish tote
bag - a fun and practical project to take home and use with pride.

What You’ll Learn:
How to thread and operate your sewing machine
Basic sewing techniques and finishing touches
Tips for fabric cutting, measuring, and assembly
How to follow a simple pattern to make a lined tote bag

What to Bring:

Note: You’ll need your own sewing machine for this workshop.

Materials List:
• Outer Fabric: 2 fat quarters
• Lining: 2 fat quarters
• Handles: 1 fat quarter
• Optional: Fusible fleece batting or fusible interlining (adds structure)
• Thread (to match or contrast with your fabric)
• Sharp scissors
• Measuring tape
• Pins
• Fabric marker or pencil

stores.

Please bring your own foodsnacks – no kitchen facilities are available on site.

No prior experience needed - just a willingness to learn and create!
