Moths and Butterflies Workshop

(Big Butterfly Count starts for 2026)

Join the Park Rangers on this half-day Workshop focussing on the amazing world of moths and butterflies.

The morning will start with an interactive session on identifying the moths captured in the Robinsons trap the previous night, followed by their release and submitting the findings and records.

The rest of the day will focus on the ‘diurnal lepidopterans’ – Butterflies.

This will involve a brief indoor presentation followed by a guided excursion around the grounds netting, identifying and releasing some of our beautiful butterflies.
